June TBR (2018)

Hey guys, this is Abi here,
And there's nothing that I love more than a new month: because it means a brand new TBR!
Enjoy!

So if you are following me on Twitter, you know that I am currently in the process of reading every book that I own, before I buy any more (it's killing me because there are so many amazing releases coming out soon- or have just come out- and I did get one today), and one thing that I have got into the habit of doing is taking a picture of the remaining books on my TBR every time I finish a book.

I have five left.

So the books on this month's TBR are:

1. The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern
I was meant to read this last month, but after finishing the entirety of the Mistborn trilogy, I just wasn't in the mood to pick it up (I was borderline on a reading slump). But I read a quick book about addiction (Clean, by Juno Dawson, which I wasn't able to include on my wrap up because I finished it about 10 minutes before midnight last night) and now I'm in the mood to pick this up. I hope this is good, I've heard it is, and I will be definitely be posting a review on it when I finish it.

2. Children of Blood and Bone (Legend of Orisha #1), by Tomi Adeyemi
I got this last month in a moment of weakness (though admittedly I don't regret getting this for a second.) The hype is real for this, and I can't wait to pick it up because I haven't heard one bad comment about this novel. Shamefully, I don't know a whole lot about it. I know there's magic, and that it has been demolished. I know that it cost the MC a lot, and that she's determined to bring the land back to what it once was, when there was magic throughout the land. And I know that I can't wait to read it.

3. It, by Stephen King
Wow, this one's a chunker. I'm not kidding, it's 1166 pages. Something tells me that I just have to bite the bullet and pick it up, or else I'll never read it! It may scar me for life, but at least I can say that I've read a Stephen King book. I sure picked a creeper. I don't know how long this'll take me (hopefully not the whole month) but I'm determined to have it finished by the end of the month. I know that it's about a group of teenagers that stumbled across some unforeseen horror at the start of the book. They then leave and grow up, but they are unable to fully leave, and they eventually return to something perhaps even more gruesome...

4. Caraval (Caraval #1), by Stephanie Garber
I'm tacking this on to the end of my monthly TBR because I bought Legendary today (I know I said that I'm not buying new books before I read all the ones that I own, but Legendary was signed- and it looks so pretty). I read this last year, and I'm going to re-read Caraval to refresh my memory on what happened in the first book.

So those are the books that I'm including in this month's TBR! I hope you enjoyed today's post and feel free to let me know what you are reading this month!
Byeeeeeee!
