The Lunar Chronicles

Hey guys, this is Abi here,
I always seem to start with the same intro...
I love books! (There, that's okay, I guess)

And I now own the entire Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer! (Excluding Fairest, but that's a spin-off, so it technically doesn't count). And they are so deliciously beautiful!
But don't take my word for it! Have a look for yourself!

Books in the Lunar Chronicles:
Cinder, based on the story of Cinderella                            (Please ignore Fairest please? Thanks!)
Scarlet, based on the story of Little Red Riding Hood
Cress, based on the story of Rapunzel
Winter, based on the story of Snow White




I am currently 60 pages into Cinder, and I love it already! It's such an easy read, but so far there hasn't been a second that hasn't had me suspended in the characters, the plot, the whole world! It's so different, but so similar to the original story, and you can see the difference between the two to the point where you literally gasp and smile when you see it! (Or is that just me)
Cinder is the best mechanic in New Beijing, which for me is great, because it tells the (potential) reader that Cinder is not just a fairytale, and she's not just a girl that MAY get married to a prince, which I think is just fantastic.


In my conclusion, if the rest of the series is half as good as this book is indicating that it is, it's going to be quite a series!
