Hey guys, this is Abi here,
And even though I feel like this book tag is totally and completely out of date, but who cares? Not me. And also, I feel like I haven't done a book tag in like AGES (like a week and a half) but... yeah.
So, let's get to it!
Would You Rather Book Tag
1. Would you rather only read series or only read standalones?
Series, definitely. Mainly because I feel like you get to see the characters develop more if there were more books. So, yeah...
2. Would you rather only read female authors or male authors?
Whether the author is male or female isn't really a contributing factor in what type of books I want to read, but I do tend to read more female authors, (not purposely). But I love ma female authors (Teri Terry, Malorie Blackman, J K Rowling, Suzanne Collins, to name a few). Sorry, John Green and Derek Landy...
3. Would you rather only shop at Barnes and Noble or Amazon?
I have never been to Barnes and Noble as it is an American Shop (I'm almost positive) but I'm going to assume that the Barnes and Noble option stands for bookshops, and do I am going to go with the option of bookshops, mainly because I LOVE BOOKSHOPS. I love them. Just, the whole atmosphere, the smells of new books, and just the way it makes me feel. Sorry Amazon. (But not sorry)
4. Would you rather all books become movies or tv shows?
UHHH, THE PAIN. WHICH ONE DO I CHOOSE? I seriously don't know.
Uhhh, movies, you know what's going to happen, and you get to love the characters even more, but...
Tv shows, just decided. Because well, one of the things that I love about books are being surprised by plot twists: traitors and death and war that, if done right, would be incredible. So, with a heavy heart, I choose tv show.
5. Would you rather read 5 pages a day or 5 books a week?
5 books a week, easy! I wouldn't be able to live if I could only read 5 pages a day!
6. Would you rather be a professional author or professional reviewer?
Probably professional author as when I attempt to do reviews (I say attempt because when I do reviews my thoughts are all over the place), because growing up, I remember mostly just typing up a storyline on a laptop, creating worlds.
Anyway, professional author.
7. Would you rather only read your top 20 favourite books or only new read new books?
Ooooooh, that's hard. Most likely my top 20 books because no matter how many times I read them, I see something different. Plus, I can fall into their worlds as easy as pie. (Really don't know where that came from).
8. Would you rather be a librarian or bookseller?
Ooooooh, another hard one. Librarian: Gets books for free, but on the other hand, the library might not have the full series, which annoys me so much, plus a bookseller might get to read books in advance of other readers, or even choose them. Yeah, bookseller takes it.
9. Would you rather only read your favourite genre or read every genre but your favourite?
Every series except my favourite. I mean, I love my favourite genre, but I couldn't just read one book after another of the same genre, I'd get into a reading slump way too easily, plus if I'm reading everything except my favourite, I'd get a new favourite genre eventually, right? Right.
10. Would you rather only read physical books or e-books?
Physical books, definitely. I mean, I love the feel, the smell of a book. Also, I carry a book everywhere. I don't feel like I'd be able to love without a physical book in my bag.
So! That was my Would You Rather Book Tag, and I hope you enjoyed it! If you did, feel free to follow me on Google+, or even comment on this post.
Love you guys, see you soon!!
Byeeeee!
