Should I Have Read More By Now?

Do you ever feel like you should have read more than you have? I do. I always feel like, it doesn't matter how much I read, I should have read more, read as much as everyone else, specifically the popular series' and trilogies that everyone has heard of. (Like the Shatter Me trilogy, and the Infernal Devices trilogy).

Does anyone else feel like this? Like it doesn't matter how much you read, you still can't catch up with everyone else, even if you've read more. 

Because books never stop being released, do they? There's just a pile of books that you keep meaning to read, and it keeps getting bigger... 

Which is a good thing, I assure you! I mean, who doesn't want to keep reading new books, uncovering new worlds, characters?

I'm just saying that it's just a bit daunting. 

I mean, when you were younger, say you skipped a couple of trilogies/ series, and a few years later, you want t go back to it (for me this was The Mortal Instruments), and you go back to read it, but then all these new releases keep coming, it's just hard to keep up. 

Right?

So tell me guys, is this just me? Or do the rest of you feel like this?
